The first place that we are going to visit is ijen mount, Ijen is located in Banyuwangi regency, it’s famous with sun rise of java. The Fabled ijen plateau is vast volcanic region dominated by three cones of ijen (2368m), merapi(2800m) and raung (3332m). The turquoise lake in the Ijen Crater and the mystical world that the smoke creates around it attract tourists from all over the globe. The Ijen Crater is not only a major tourist attraction it is also a source of an important natural resource Sulfur.
One day the volcano produces around 60 tons of sulfur that is collected around 300 local people work here. The miners carry the sulfur rocks from the Crater down to the post in bamboo baskets; miner carries sulfur with load 60kg to 80kg. This is far from an easy task (now 2014, around 800 rupiah / kilo)
Besides sulfur, in ijen also contains natural gas. At night, the combination of heat and sulfur creates a magnificent, natural phenomenon referred to as blue fire.
The next destination is Songgon village, this is one of destination we’d like to offer for you because this village is fresh village, large rice filed, munch water everywhere, and location in close from raung mount one of active volcano in east java. we can see this mount from the top of ijen. After from songgon we visit alas puwo, This 434-sq km national park occupies the whole of remote Blambangan peninsula on the shorten eastern tip of java. purwo national park provides a home for wildlife. The wildlife in Alas Purwo come to the feeding ground of Sadengan every morning. have juggle tracking for explore caves (gua istana) Alas Purwo also has a turtle hatchery in Ngagelan. The mangrove forest at far west of Alas Purwo is considerably well-preserved.. Alas purwo means first forest in Javanese according to legend, this is earth first emerged from the ocean
After finishing in alas purwo we drive straight to visit sukamade turtle-spawning ground its located in meru betiri national park, this place is most important turtle-spawning ground in indonesia. Where five species of turtle come ashore to laying their eggs. Green turtle most common, but giant leatherbacks also visit (usually between December and February). In the middle of jungle still many wild animal such as leopard, wild boars, monkeys, banteng, black giant squirrels, civets, reticulated pythons (the world’s longest snake) bird life is prolific, with Javanese eagle and large number of hornbills – including rhinoceros hornbill which emit a bark –like horn

Here the itinerary is:
Day 1: Ijen Day tour
We take you at your accommodation in Banyuwangi at 5 AM. We are carried by 4-WD jeep and accompanied by local guide. The driver takes us to paltuding the name of parking area. From hotel to paltuding area around 2 hour, From here you you walk up to the top of ijen. You will walk up around 90 minutes or 3 kilometer, after arriving in the top, yuo see the magnificent turquoise lake and the spectacular landscape of the Volcano. If you have finished to enjoy panorama here, we walk back to Pal Tuding. From Pal Tuding, we drive to coffee and clove plantation for increasing information about coffee and clove , after ward we drive back to hotel/Banyuwangi city, this tour usually finish between 10 and 11 AM. Then it’s your rest time until tomorrow morning.
Day 2: Rafting in songgon village – learning traditional dance
– We take you at 6.00 AM in hotel.
– We drive to songgon village by car around 2 hour from hotel
– After arriving in Songgon village we go to rafting office,
– Here we prepare our equipment.
– Then Driver takes us to the first post of rafting, but the car can’t reach to the river so we should walk
to the river,
– After ward we start spectacular rafting around 3 hour, it finishes at 2.00 PM.
– And then we have lunch.
– have rest for moment
– learn traditional dance (this is optional program, if you are okay we will give it)
– you spent a night here (local home in songgon village)
Day 3: Alas purwo national park
We start our tour from sonngon village ,we take you in local house in village. We leave at 5 AM. It takes around 3 hours to get there. We go straight to the feeding ground of Sadengan in Alas Purwo. We will have breakfast while watching the wildlife. Sadengan is grazing ground has the largest herd of wild Banteng in java, kijang (deer) and peacocks are seen here from the viewing tower. From Sadengan, we go to Pancur 3km south east from trianggulasi beach where there is small water fall that flow onto beach, another PHKA post and camping ground. In pancur we have juggle tracking for explore caves (gua istana) in Alas Purwo. These sites are considered by some people as a sacred site. And many soul researcher and mystic flock here during suro mount, which mark of Javanese New Year. They come here regularly for meditating. Then we visit Trianggulasi beach with white-sand, here is beautiful, but swimming is dangerous because the underwater current is very strong. After from trianggulasi we go to ngagelan, it’s a semi-natural turtle hatchery by the sea. After visiting Ngaggelan,from Ngagelan, we go to Mangrove forest. The distance is around 7 km. Then, we take gondang-gandung (wooden boat) to across Mangrove Bedul. We’ll have a lunch break in Mangrove forest. Alas Purwo tour will end around 2 PM. Then we go to sukamade (merubetiri national park)
GO TO SUKAMADE –OPTIONAL PROGRAM (GREEN BAY)- RAJEK WESI
we drive straight to sukamade , We across a river to Sukamade by 4-WD vehicle, When the river flow is too high and strong, we will cross the river with bamboo boat and walk around1 hour to Sukamade, after arriving in sukamade mess pantai, If we still have time (around at 4 -5 PM) we can relies baby turtle in sukamade beach. And then we come back to mess pantai, now it’s time for having break at then at 8 PM we go Sukamade beach with local rangers. In beach we can see turtles lay eggs One turtle can lay eggs around 100, local ranger visits the beach every night to check whether one or two turtles come ashore. after from beach we can see small turtle rise from sand in cage , then it’s time for having rest, Tonight we will stay at the accommodation of Meru Betiri National Park.
Day 4: Go to rajekwesi beach – back to Banyuwangi town / hotel
weak up early morning at 06.30. then have breakfast , after that pack up we go to rajekwesi beach then drive straight to Banyuwangi town we might stop for having lunch, we arrive in town around at 12 or 01 PM
note: optional program after from sukamade, we might stop in teluk hijau (green bay) here we walk down to white – sand beach, it possible for swimming.
